Why Lose Weight

If you think you belong to those who weigh right, you never ever want to let go of that. But what if you are a bit heavy? Naturally, you want to shed those pounds off. Perhaps it’s because you would like to improve your appearance. After all a lot of people think that slim is sexy and more attractive. 

Being slim and looking more attractive are some of the reasons why people wanted to lose weight. While for some, they were advised by their doctors to watch their weight to maintain their health. Others just wanted to look physically fit. Of course, if you are healthy and fit you get to live longer. Heart disorders, diabetes and other chronic disorders are prevented because you weigh just right.

Another reason why weight loss is good is the tendency to move slowly when you’re heavy and bulky mean while if you are thinner, you are more agile. Like in the case of athletes, they weigh just right. Their bodies have more muscles than fat. Have you ever come across an athlete who is obese? Most likely not but there is an exception such as sumo wrestlers because the bulk or the sheer size of a sumo wrestler is needed to have or gain the upper hand from an opponent.

Basically, people just like to lose weight because it boosts their confidence and makes them feel good about themselves. To be fit and slim is the ideal of most, if not all, people.
